Otium sails to Raja Ampat once a year, October through April. Exact dates are confirmed on inquiry.
We recommend a minimum of 8 days for guests who want the full Raja Ampat experience — Dampier Strait, Piaynemo, and Misool sit hours apart by sea, and shorter charters mean spending more time moving than exploring.

We’ve chartered in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Raja Ampat aboard Otium was something else — the crew read the tides like they’d grown up on them, and Dampier Strait at dawn was worth the whole trip.
He proposed at Piaynemo, just after sunrise, before the day boats arrived. The crew had arranged everything without a single hint — I still don’t know how they kept it a secret.
Three teenagers who are impossible to impress, and by day three they didn’t want to leave. The diving, the crew, the freedom to anchor wherever we wanted — it worked for all of us.
