No wildlife encounter can be guaranteed, but Saleh Bay is one of the most reliable whale shark locations in Indonesia, with sightings occurring year-round around local fishing platforms.
Very much so. Moyo's waterfalls and Satonda's crater lake are both non-diving highlights, and swimming with whale sharks in Saleh Bay is typically done by snorkelling rather than diving.
Most charters embark in Labuan Bajo and sail west into Sumbawa as part of a combined route. Direct flights also connect to Bima and Sumbawa Besar for guests joining partway.
